When Clause says a ninety day notice window is aggressive, that claim has to come from somewhere. You own where.
This is a research role with a product output. You decide what normal looks like for a services agreement, a commercial lease, an equipment lease and a contractor agreement, and you keep those norms current as they move.
What you would own
- Build and maintain the standard-terms corpus across the agreement types our customers actually sign.
- Write the comparison language that appears in the product, in plain English, with the number attached.
- Review model output weekly against the corpus and file what is wrong, specifically.
- Set the line we do not cross: where Clause explains, and where it says take this to a lawyer.
What we are looking for
- Licensed attorney with five or more years in commercial contracts, in-house or at a firm.
- You have read enough vendor paper to know what is market and what is a vendor trying it on.
- You can write for a reader who is not a lawyer and has four minutes.
- You are comfortable being the person who says the product is wrong about this.
How hiring runs
A thirty minute call with a founder, then a paid work session on a real problem from our backlog, three to four hours, then conversations with two people you would work with. Four steps, usually inside two weeks, and we tell you where you stand at every one.
